Loved The Book and I don't even have RA

Well told and inspirational story. The author lets the reader into his thoughts and emotions and they resonated with me as I battled a different autoimmune illness. Besides being a great lesson on the power of friendships and loving caring family for those suffering with RA and other autoimmune illnesses, I find it a great testament to "taking control of your own healthcare." The author does not "push" his exact treatment on the reader, but is a role model for how everyone should approach treatment. Don't just assume the first doctor you went to has all the answers. Be open minded to alternative opinions and also open to making dramatic lifestyle changes (diet for example.) I've already had one friend with RA that could not thank me enough for recommending this book to her. She has been feeling better for a year now, but still found comfort in reading how what she had to go through was not unique. I highly recommend this book for all those fighting the battle or that have a loved one fighting it. For those with a family member with RA, it is great insight into the emotions and thoughts that they are struggling with as they also struggle with the physical pain. Gives great examples on how family and friends can help with the emotional pain and possibly the overall fight against the pain. My best wishes to you and/or your family member that is battling RA, I hope you too buy this book and fight the good fight against RA and win!

"Why I Used To Hate Tomorrow...."

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book!! I found it very difficult to put it down at night!!

As I was reading this book, on more than one occasion, I kept thinking to myself would I have been brave enough and had the courage to say, "I am not going to listen to the medical professionals anymore and instead will handle my illness, the symptoms associated with it and the treatment of my disease myself!!"....I am not sure I could have done that.

The author had the uncanny ability of bringing his stuggles, pain, frustration and suffering through the pages of the book to me as if I was suffering the effects of RA as well.

You will find yourself rooting for him to beat RA, treat the disease's symptoms and bring his life back to where he was before RA began affecting his life.

When he gets his life back you feel as exhilarated as the author himself conveys in the book.

A story of a true life struggle, the courage to fight back head on, and win!!

Wonderful True Story

This story and the author's willingness to share his personal challenges with RA are truly inspirational. It was fascinating to learn how his open-minded approach to different types of treatment eventually led him to a way back to normalcy. I recommend it highly to anyone who is either experiencing or knows someone experiencing a physically frustrating and life-altering ailment, even if it is not RA.

needs work

This M/M fantasy novella, presumably the first instalment in a series, has flaws and strong points.

What I mostly missed is the scope, the wide narrative breadth that is so typical of successful "sword and sorcery"s. This author often appears to be in a hurry: she does not take her time with her settings and her dialogues; she does not make the most of her situations; she does not develop her plot to its full potential.
This might appear minor, but it detract from the overall narrative tension.
In a fantasy, details are essential to the whole: they help the reader to suspend disbelief; they give true depth to plot and characters. Ms Delecour seems to realise that something is wrong and tries to make up for it by introducing short paragraphs that give insight into her characters' psychologies and explain the point she is trying to make, but this device is dissatisfying and ends by making it clearer that something else is missing.

On the other hand, this novella manages to entertain all the same:
there are some nice action scenes; there are good dialogues; there is a decent intrigue and characters are likeable. It really needed more pages, though.

I loved it!

I completely loved this book; the characters, the plot, the world, everything. It was full of adventure, mystery, and a far share of flirting and banter between the two main characters. I couldn't put it down and I am eagerly awaiting the next book that Delecour writes.

Difficult English, tears, and laughter

The book was well written, though partly uses “old English” (the best, quickest example being the word daemon = demon) and for that it was slightly harder to read than was necessary, but on the other hand the style suited the book well.

The beginning of the book didn’t suck me in immediately, but very soon thereafter I was quite invested in it, and I didn’t put the book down for much else besides sleeping and eating. The book both moved me to tears and made me laugh, loudly. I think that the characters were well written, they were deep and believably human.

Most of the book happens in the span of two weeks, and based on that, one could say that the development of the romantic relationship was fast; but while reading the book there is so much going on at once that the progress is agonizingly slow. However through common hardships I thought the relationship developed naturally in the span of a few days, and the rate of progress did create a great anticipation for the ending of the book. I mean to say that for this book the romance aspect was more like a spice, it wasn’t everything. This book has a story to tell besides the romance.

The book also illustrated humanity well, in the worst sense of the word “humanity”. I dislike reading about it, but it also told of the author’s good understanding of the human nature. For this book, I suppose it was a necessary evil.

Different Author, Different Book

The chilling story of the brutal murders of three Girl Scouts in the late 70's is enough to make your skin crawl. With the right Author this horrifying story would have left the reader double checking the locks on their doors and windows. Instead it left me not knowing anymore about the murders than I did before I read the book. In the summer of 1977 three Girl Scouts were found murdered, the only suspect was a man the law had been after for a long time. Well, did Hart or didn't he, murder the girl scouts? We never do find out unless of course, you believe the Indian medicine man. McCoy rambles and gives the reader nothing but typos. The strange thing is the author is from Oklahoma so why doesn't he offer any of his own theories? Surely there had to be talk in the community about who murdered the girls in Tent Number Eight.

I bought this hoping that it was like the book I read long ago. It felt thrown together and not organized. The trail part was a bit to much back on forth then the closing argument part was way to biring

Extremely badly written book. If I hadn't been familiar with the circumstances of the murders from the accounts at the time, and the other book, Cry For The Children, I would have had very little idea what really happened. The author rambled and switched from topic to topic in no particular order. Much of the writing was grammatically incorrect, and some words were spelled differently every time they came up..(Chouteau, Choteau, Choto)...... I sincerely regret spending $8 on the kindle download, and really couldn't recommend this book to anyone at all. Sorry...
