The dimensions of a complex waveform are elementary waveforms from which that waveform can be built by simple addition. Any finite single-valued function of time is admissible. They are called basis functions (lO, 15), and they can be expressed in numeric as well as geometric form.

Neurodynamics Is A Vital Book For Anybody Interested In Research In The Area Of Mind-Brain Functioning

Dr. Freeman started a field of study that he, unfortunately, no longer gets the credit for. Trained in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Medicine, Neurophysiology, Philosophy and Theology he produced a huge amount of new and vital research which is the basis of much of today's understanding about the functioning of the brain and its complex relationship to the mind. This is a very technical and mathematical book, a sampling of the 450 scientific papers that he published during his long career as a mind-brain researcher.
