EXCELLENT COMPANION TO SCHWEIZER INFORMATION MANUAL

This book is a 'must-have' to add to one's aviation library of Aircraft Information Manuals. Quast has provided a logical and concise overview of Systems that include numerous color photos of the 300C with each system's description. The Performance Planning and Weight & Balance sections are well explained, easy to understand and provide the aid of color charts/graphs. This is an excellent resource for either the aspiring pilot or rated pilot transitioning to the new model. It does not cover or include model-specific information found in the RFM/POH(limitations, v-speeds, dimensions). This book, used along with the Schweizer Model 300C Information Manual, will help one to obtain the necessary aircraft-specific information needed for operation of this model helicopter.

Well written, accurate, and complete compliment to the rotorcraft flight manual. Includes fairly well thought out checklists, though I did modify them slightly for personal preference. Provides a good deal of insight to the 300C.
