From School Library Journal
PreS—The storytime hit Tuck Me In! (Candlewick, 2010) finally has a sequel. This picture book, written and illustrated by the same duo, is all about animals and the food they eat. While there are some familiar animals like a horse and a monkey, there are also less common ones such as a squirrel, a panda, and a seal. The animals respond to the question "Who's Hungry?," with "I am!" and then describe the foods they like to eat. The same half-fold construction is used in this book, and the consumed food, such as half-bitten carrots or fish bones, is shown once flipped. The digital animals are again bright, big eyed, and expressive. A solid choice for food or animal storytimes and one-on-one sharing. VERDICT Purchase two copies: one for storytime and one for circulation.—Brooke Newberry, La Crosse Public Library, WI
Review
With each turn, the reader can "feed" a new one, an activity that seems to bring a mysterious delight to children.
—The New York Times
Kids will delight in wielding the power to bring food directly to the hungry creatures' mouths. Full of teachable moments—healthy-eating discussions, animal habitats, and more—this is an undeniable hit. A terrific read to placate little ones who may be waiting on their own meals.
—Kirkus Reviews
A natural pick for toddlers, who will enjoy taking on the role of caretaker for this needy menagerie.
—Publishers Weekly
A solid choice for food or animal storytimes and one-on-one sharing.
—School Library Journal
This will make a cheerful addition to baby and toddler storytimes, and it will be a popular title for home reading (and an especially nice choice for an older sibling-younger sibling readaloud session) as well.

Super cute book for toddlers
By A. Peel
My toddler LOVES this book. This is the reason he has started eating broccoli. Why? because there's a plate with some food on it at the end that features broccoli. Suddenly he loves it! We went out to eat and he stole all of my husband's broccoli off of his plate.
I took off a star because bananas do not grow like that. They grow in bunches, not dispersed like apples!

Kids love to feed the animals!
By Mama Liz
My kids love this one as much as Tuck Me In! It is interactive and the kids love seeing how the food is either peeled or eaten after "feeding" it to them. Like Tuck Me In, you get a mix of the more common kid book animals as well as not so common ones. So even mom is surprised with delight, which is a good thing because my three year old makes me read it so many times!!!

Cute Animals Eat
By L. M. Keefer
I love flap books. This book is great for pre-schoolers to learn animal names and the foods they like. Little ones will enjoy this. The animals are appealing. Featured are: bunny, seal, monkey, squirrel, mouse, panda, and a horse. Love the colors and faces of animals.
